This week, we have guest Prof Laura Silvestri from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University who gives an amazing overview of iron regulation from the perspective of the protein hepcidin.

Prof Silvestri illustrates the mechanism behind hepcidin regulation and how is transcription effected by proinflammatory cytokines in certain hematological disorders.
