These words describe the poetry, literature and stories that are forced upon our children.

We live in a nation where the majority of our K-12 students are children of color.

They have few, if any, educational resources that reflect their own cultural identity. And few if any stories of heroes who look like them.

Dr. Berry is on a crusade to do something about it.
