Welcome to Edtrex Rewind Episode 15!
While at SXSWEDU Week this past March, Quin and Matt met the national leader for the Hope Street Group. This nonprofit organization seeks “to ensure every American will have access to tools and options leading to economic opportunity and prosperity.” One of their main projects is to sponsor teachers across the United States to be Teaching Fellows and we were lucky enough to sit down with six of them to do a series of podcasts on a variety of subjects. This week we sat down with Megan Fairbourn and Denise Willmore, two of the Utah Teaching Fellows, to discuss being an advocate inside and outside the classroom and how advocacy changed their perceptions of education. Join us for this amazing conversation!
