Dr Louise Edensor, Senior Lecturer and Campus Programme Coordinator of the International Foundation Programme at Middlesex University Dubai, tells Edarabia how students can make their job application essay stand out from the crowd.
From reading the job specification and ensuring that your application is tailored to what the employer is looking for, to keeping the essay short and concise, highlighting the skills that all employers look for, such as team skills, initiative, communication skills, to the ways in which you can differentiate yourself by including unique experiences and outlining extracurricular activities.
About Dr Louise Edensor
Dr Louise Edensor is Campus Programme Coordinator for the International Foundation Programme at Middlesex University Dubai. She holds a PhD and an MA in Literature, a BA Honours (First Class) in Humanities with Literature, and a BA Honours in Business Administration, along with an ILM Certificate in Supervisory Management.
She is Editorial Assistant for Katherine Mansfield Studies, and a Member of the May Sinclair Society and the British Modernism Society.
