Last week on the program we spoke about Ormiston College and its planned expansion that would involve the removal of habitat that has been labelled as a koala priority area by the Redland City Council. Today, we will be talking to Debbie Pointing, the President of the Koala Action Group about this proposed development and how it will affect koalas in the area should it go ahead.
We have an interview brought to us by our field reporter about the Neighbourhood Farm with their founder Matt Bakker and Barb from Slow Food Brisbane.
Andy Paine has also sent us an interview to commemorate the 80th anniversary of America dropping a nuclear bomb on Japan. We will be playing excerpts of memories from Japanese nuclear survivor Takashi Nakata and speaking to anti-nuclear activist Kim Dawson.
