Segment 1: Women's Breast & Heart Initiative, Guest - Andrea Ivory, Founder.
Ivory discusses the importance of not waiting to get mammograms because of Covid, or loss of insurance or other financial need. WBHI makes arrangements for low or no-cost mammograms, reminding women that early detection is the key to survival. To help fund their efforts, WBHI holds their Annual Pink Walk:A Virtual Movement, September 20th - 27th. The Walk this year is Virtual, and participants have a full week to complete their 2 miles.

Segment 2: Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, Guest - Girl Scouts 'Media Girl', Samantha White. White talks about her experience as a Girl Scout for 11 years, and how being part of Girl Scouts opens opportunities for girls, teaches them about volunteerism, helps develop business skills and ethics, and creates lasting friendships. She talks about how the annual 'Lead the Way Luncheon' honoring professional women leaders has impacted her personally. This year's Lead the Way 'luncheon' will be a virtual Facebook Live event, September 16th, noon - 1 p.m., and will be free to view.
