Dubai to Launch Two New Salik Toll Gates to Reduce Traffic Congestion

Salik PJSC has announced two new toll gates in Dubai, located at :
- Business Bay Crossing on Al Khail Road
- Al Safa South on Sheikh Zayed Road, will be operational from November 24.
This addition will raise the total number of Salik toll gates in the city from eight to ten.
The new tolls aim to ease traffic congestion by up to 16 percent.
Specifically, the Business Bay Crossing gate is expected to lower traffic by 12-15 percent on Al Khail Road and by 10-16 percent on Al Rabat Street.
The Al Safa South gate will help reduce right-turn traffic volume by 15 percent from Sheikh Zayed Road onto Meydan Street and improve overall flow between Financial Center Street and Meydan Street.
The adjustments are also intended to redirect traffic towards First Al Khail Street and Al Asayel Street.
