#21 – Reincarnation Pt. II

Here’s the second entry in our coverage of Life After Life. Today we start the show with an intriguing pyramid construction theory. We talk about a couple other interest news items as well before going into the book. We cover various reincarnation cases that have birthmarks matching the previous personality’s wounds. Dean confesses to his bad memory and confusion about Ian Stevenson. We cover some interesting theories on how the birthmarks cases might work. We also talk about the practice of experimental birthmarks and cover some cases that include examples. We spend time on the idea of consciousness affecting the body and how that might work. Hopefully you aren’t sick of reincarnation yet because there’s a lot more to come!

Topics include dark matter and dark energy. We spend some time talking about the mysteries of gravity, quantum physics and the theories that try to combine them together into a grand “theory of everything.” We talk about consciousness, teleportation and reincarnation. We have fun trying out some different illusions to show how crazy the brain is. We compare hard sciences to soft sciences and then discuss fields like psychology and egyptology. We lament over all the deliberately destroyed knowledge. We round out the episode discussing the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis and the replication crisis in science.
