The Car You Will Die With

My parents, who are septuagenarians, recently purchased their "last" vehicle. It happens to be an uninspiring Ford Edge SEL with Convenience Package. This lead me to the bigger picture: What will be the car I die with? What will be the last car purchase I make when I am getting to the age where driving around town is just plain irresponsible? I approached this question not so much as a car enthusiast, but rather someone of old age and on a fixed income.
