This week Drew and Sam are in the land of fantasy, as the Drewling Samantics HQ is visited (albeit virtually) by another talented creative – apocalyptic adventure, magical thriller, and detective mystery fiction writer and photographer, Andrew Dobell. 
 
Andrew is a prolific author, particularly in the world of urban fantasy, with not only an extensive library of written novels but audio versions of his work too (some of which just so happen to be voiced by someone rather familiar...) Now we could be fooled into thinking the boys are joined on the show by two writers, but actually it’s just another side of the talented Mr Dobell as he also writes crime and detective fiction under the pen name of A L Fraine. And not just the mind behind the stories, Andrew is actually involved with all sides of his novels and designs, and shoots and edits the cover art too – something he does for other authors as well. 
 
So join the chaps today for a fascinating conversation, not only for fantasy fans, but for anyone interested in the world of ‘indie’ publishing, and to get a “behind the scenes” insight of how actors and models help bring the written words to life.
