Hatching a Golden Idea
The fourth episode of this season is upon us, and the Drewling Samantics chaps are treating us lucky listeners to yet another superb guest! This week Drew and Sam are joined by the wonderful Georgia Harris, a brilliant young lady who is no stranger to one of the boys in particular...
Georgia is Drew’s cousin - but more importantly is a director, and the artistic director of the Golden Goose theatre, a new and award-winning theatre in Camberwell. Not only is she talented and ambitious, but Georgia has some innovative and game changing ideas for new writing and supporting female creatives, which are rightfully getting her plenty of attention and well deserved plaudits. Her energy and enthusiasm for her work and that of others is infectious and inspiring, and the story of the Golden Goose is especially encouraging - both the theatre and Georgia certainly have a shining future.
With a challenging and exciting program of plays planned for this summer there is every reason to get to the Golden Goose as soon as you can. But make sure you listen to this episode first of course!
