It’s hard to live your dream life if you’re sluggish, overweight or just plain out of shape. When you’re unfit, you lack energy, your clothes don’t fit right and looking at yourself in that less than perfect condition can even lower your self-esteem. The solution, of course, is to exercise and keep yourself on a regular and consistency training program. But did you know there’s a right way and a wrong way to exercise?

That’s the opinion of my guest on this episode of Dream Power Radio, personal trainer, Patrick Spring. Patrick maintains that many gyms don’t properly instruct their clients on how to use equipment correctly or also teach improper exercise techniques, which often leads to inconsistent results or, at worst, injury. As a result he founded Intrinsic Resistance Training, or IRT for sort, that emphasizes consistent proper posture and core training for greater and lasting physical results. His goal is to help others practice technique that is helpful, rather than harmful, to their overall health and fitness. Patrick explains how his program works and demonstrates how to make this a powerful alternative to your workout regime.
