REM 40: Adam Carswell - The Journey of Communication Mastery & How It All Starts

Starting a podcast is like diving into the deep end before learning how to swim. 

But we all know you can’t learn to swim by just standing on the edge of a diving board…

After 40 episodes of Real Estate Milestones, I have grown in more ways than I could have ever imagined. 

In today’s episode, Adam Carswell and I reminisce on how each of our journeys in podcasting began and how much each of us has grown as communicators since then. 

We discuss how to be a powerful communicator, how to start a podcast, and some very exciting things to come!

The common theme in our stories is our inclination to take action at all points of our journey. 

Before I first pressed record, I was worried that I wasn’t ready because I had not yet

found my voice.

Soon after, I realized the only way to find your voice is to use it. 

This isn’t something that happens instantaneously - Trust me, check at the first few episodes…

But having the courage to jump in and take imperfect action is the most effective way to build the skills you need to accomplish the goals you thrive to achieve. 

Adam, Thank you for giving me the push I needed at the beginning of all this. Without you, I might still be staring down into the water, getting lost in all the things that might go wrong. I’m excited to see what adventures our future holds!
