LIANE CARMEN, a former marketing employee for Coca-Cola, and now an author from Florida, joined us to discuss her "Investigation Duo" series, as well as her upcoming standalone book, "When Wings Flutter".

"The idea behind Where the Truth Hides started when we had a family mystery to solve and turned to DNA testing. I might have become slightly obsessed. (Okay, I did.) We solved our mystery, but during our search, we also uncovered a secret or two. More than one person asked: is DNA ever wrong? After much research, I have found the simple answer. Families keep secrets, and people don't always tell the truth, but DNA doesn't lie.
