Drawing Strength from Historic Faith

What if we could learn from the past to inspire a better future? The often under-acknowledged story of the Swamp Fox, Francis Marion, is a testament to the power of faith during the Revolutionary War. We explore parallels between the societal degradation of Israel and our modern society, drawing attention to the rampant consumerism in the pornography industry. As we reminisce about the historical figure and contemplate the state of our nation, we recognize the need for change and the importance of learning from our past.

When we talk about reform, we often think of government intervention or military strength. But, the story of Hezekiah, the king who brought about a revival in Israel, reminds us that real change comes from God. Hezekiah's reestablishment of the Passover, despite the priests not being consecrated, led to a drastic shift in the nation within just three months. This transformation from a society that celebrated the killing of babies to one of massive revival, underscores the immense power of faith and the potential for change when we surrender to the divine.

In uncertain times, it is our worship and obedience that see us through. We share stories of individuals who faced persecution for their faith, yet remained obedient to God's word and Spirit, leading to revival. We acknowledge the urgency of our nation's situation and emphasize that our power comes from the mighty hand of God. We invite you all to join us in prayer for our nation, our families, and ourselves. By turning to God and repenting, we can experience revival. Let's remember, the joy and celebration that Jerusalem experienced for seven days can be ours today.
