MEN'S LONELINESS

A recent article released by SBS, one of our government-run television channels here in Australia, reports that one in four Australian men do not have a close circle of friends and suffer from loneliness. The news article points out that it is not just an internal problem but now a serious health problem, akin to smoking fifteen cigarettes a day. Both Keith and Lee were shocked to read about this. Having just been reminded of the importance of their own friendship and recently posting a podcast on the positive value of having a good mate, they opened their microphones to discuss this alarming trend. As always they hope that, if there might be any take-ways from such discussions that are relevant to any listeners, then they do the best for themselves in acting upon it.
