Tameisha & Adrian Baxter

On this week's episode of Doc Talks, we visit with Tameisha and Adrian Baxter.    Tameisha and her husband are foster parents. They have had over 15 children placed with them throughout the years. Adrian is Tameisha’s daughter. 

 

While Tameisha was not a foster child, she was brought up in a very dysfunctional house, and God placed many families in her path who took her in and helped raise her throughout her life until the time she got married.  She says, “I understand, first hand, how much people who choose not to turn an eye on people like me make a huge impact! 

  We talk about home life, not knowing when a child may come into your care, how it affects your biological children, and the hope of being good enough.    This is a heartwarming episode as not only do we get to hear the story through the eyes of the parent but also the child.     You can find Doc Brian at:
