In this episode I take you with me on the 2021 March to the Arch event in St. Louis which took place on Saturday, 09/11/2021.

The March to the Arch is a 21-mile memorial walk, founded by Bo Drochelman, that has become an annual tradition since 2002.

The march begins in West St. Louis County and concludes at the base of the Gateway Arch. The walk begins at 9:11 a.m. on every September 11th.

I interview participants on where they were on 9/11, how their life has been affected, and why they participated in this event.

During the march we visited the Flags of Valor display.  Flags of Valor is a weeklong event held at Art Hill in Forest Park to honor the victims of 9/11, the first responders, and service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country safe fighting the War on Terror since 9/11.

The podcast references a book by Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas. The name of the book is: “You Can Do It!” and is the vision of Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas, a heroine of United Flight 93 and a woman who was an inspiration to all who knew her. Lauren's dream was to create the ultimate self-empowering resource, a book to help women of all ages realize their dreams.
