2022 Recap: The Biggest Developments in our Family Law System

2022 was a big year in the family and divorce law world.  We discuss the three biggest developments.  First, the new tort of family violence (case discussed can be found here - https://www.canlii.org/en/on/onsc/doc/2022/2022onsc1303/2022onsc1303.html ).  Second, our courts continue to take judicial notice of the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccinations for children.  Third, the return to physical courts for all things family law - like chambers dates, conferences, etc.
