039: (10) Tips for settling into a first job (even in a pandemic)

We can spend so long ducking and diving, bobbing and weaving and going around in circles on the way to securing first jobs and internships that when an exciting role is secured we sigh in relief and celebrate... rightfully so. 

All is well! 

Hmmm... until it isn't. 

Securing the job isn't the end of the story as upon starting the new role, worry, anxiety and even panic can set in about how well we are settling in.  Questions may come to mind like:

• "Am I fitting into the team?" 
• "Am I working too slowly?"
• "What does my manager think of me?"
