“Marty! You’ve got to come back with me…back to the future!” We’re taking an odd detour for this week’s podcast, with one of my pretend radio station shows. If I ever did have a chance to become a radio DJ, this would be my music of choice, dirtyfied of course. I’ve noticed on the rare occasions that I have the regular radio on, some channels for example, easy listening, would have music from the last 30 to 40 years mixed in with some newer stuff (compared to stations that only play music of certain eras). My original concept was to mix and match “ancient” electronica 😛 with its more current incarnations…the Johnny Jewels, Kavinskys, Ladytrons with the older “waves” although this podcast leaned heavier towards the more post-punk, early electronic alternative spectrum. Next time I make one of these will have more Synth-Pop and even Italo included.
