In the first part of this interview, professional journeyman screenwriter Teddy Tenenbaum tells us of his best summer job of 1986 as a tour guide on the Universal back lot. We examine how his degree in anthropology has influenced his screenwriting. Discuss his past involvement with a script assignment to rework the Grudge 2 screenplay, as well as his perspective on whether screenwriters made gains in today’s streaming market from the 100 day writers’ strike in 07-08. Plus he chats about how his friendship with the dearly departed Ed and Lorraine Warren, better known to the world as the conjuring couple and what might have been of his pilot pitch to NBC and feature pitch to Warner Brothers on a story about Ed and Lorraine's life, had it not been beaten out by Universals The Conjuring directed by James Wan.
