On Tuning a Lute

During this series on the Brahma Viharas we've explored together the practice of loving kindness and some questions have emerged. Some have wondered about prayer or the meaning of "wishing." Others have been puzzled about a practice that actively encourages cultivation: "I thought we are just supposed to notice?"

In this talk we explore more deeply the meaning and practice of "prayer" in our Buddhist tradition.
