It was one of those workdays, kind of rough, tough day, then that one guy walks in who thinks everyone should be friends. Maybe it's your shift partner, an overbearing positive attitude of just wellness and friendship. Kind of like walking around farting sparkly stars and glitter of joy. Yeah, sorry, we are not going to be friends, we work together, then I'm going home. Maybe you do become BFF's, maybe not, It's nothing personal. Maybe you find out your shift partner is involved in a hot and heavy work relationship with some other coworker...maybe they are in love. Oh, gosh, but the policies...oh yes, those pesky policies that seem to get in the way of all the fun things. Leadership and friends, the subordinate quandary, best friends, and oh the humanity.
