When we’re young, it’s easy to feel like there’s plenty of time ahead of us, so numbering our days barely crosses our mind. In the middle of life—juggling work, family, or ministry—it can feel like there’s never enough time, and eternity feels distant. And later on, we might start to wonder if our best years of serving or making a difference are behind us.
But Moses’ prayer in Psalm 90, “teach us to number our days” and “establish the work of our hands,” invites us—at every age—to live intentionally for whatever God has called you to do

In this week’s episode, Haley is joined by College Director- Andrew Overmiller and our NEW Director of Student Ministries- Josh Elgard as they talk through Andrew’s recent sermon “Establish the work that we were called to do” on Psalm 90. To listen to the full sermon click HERE!

Show Notes:

  • How have you seen God shift your heart over your years of following Him to align His plans to be your plans and what helps you keep your heart ‘anchored in eternity’ on a daily basis?
  • Can you share an example of someone choosing to live counter-culturally for what truly lasts—and what impact that had in their life?
  • As we reflect on Psalm 90, what’s one practical mindset shift you’d encourage our church to take this week—no matter their season of life—to trust God in “establishing the work that he has called us to do”—even when it doesn’t look like what we planned or expected??
