You've heard the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. He was a miserable curmudgeon with a cold heart. Scrooge declined invitations to donate to poor children and only reluctantly let his clerk, Bob Cratchit, take the day off on Christmas.
A vision of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, should have caused Scrooge to reconsider his behavior. But Scrooge only made a dramatic breakthrough after three ghosts appeared to Scrooge. The most important of the three showed Scrooge the future that will follow from the way he lived his life. A grave visited by no one and people happy that Scrooge was gone.
We at Keystone Elder Law take very seriously our role as the Ghost of Christmas Future. We show people a vision of the future and give them the opportunity to make a plan for a better future. This episode examines the vision of the future that awaits many middle class families. Keystone Elder Law's wish for you during the holidays is that you have a breakthrough like Scrooge!
