GM Web3 ☀️ on Rug Radio 🎙️: News & updates galore!

Friday, February 17th! There were a ton of updates in the market and NFT space. One of the biggest volume days in NFTs in a while happened yesterday, with a $90 million day, the highest in the past 9 months. Low-quality high-volume trades are happening, and people are still farming. Blur did $63 million versus OpenSea doing $15 million, with whale accounts farming Blur rewards being the cause. @veefriends had an event/announcement involving a burn mechanic with 'burn island', and @PUMA is dropping a PFP collection. BendDAO token is pumping, with the amount being borrowed on the platform likely being directly related to the price of the token.

In other news, the new platform @escherxyz, focused on being a marketplace for editions and focused artist portfolios, is going live soon. Ordinals are up to over 123,000 inscriptions that have happened on the Bitcoin chain, and during the podcast, Farokh announces that there will be a huge event with him and @udiWertheimer involving the Taproot wizards and Rug Radio.

@rodarmor announced during the GM Web3 show that low-number inscribers will not be rugged and the numbers will remain the same, making blockchain history. @XCOPYART dropped two new 1/1 pieces and a third one during the show, while Rug Radio will be doing an event in collaboration with @yugalabs and @Improbableio at NFT Paris.
