One particular corner of the Heimatfilm genre is occupied by the intrepid Schlagerfilme. So, of course we had to include IM WEISSEN RÖSSL - WEHE DU SINGST! in our season. And who better to talk to than the terrific queen of comedy and the film's lead actress: Diana Amft! We discussed the singing, dance scenes, the school trip atmosphere of the film shoot and why comedy is still not recognized in Germany as the high art, that it is. Enjoy!
