The Bible says, “He that finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD”. Well, in the book of Genesis 29:20-35;30:1-43, the story of Jacob and Rachel speaks to how Jacob favored Rachel. I have said it before, and I will say it again, I don’t want the “Spirit of Leah” because in the Bible, Leah was unloved. However, Jacob loved Rachel so much that he was willing to work for her, for 14 years. Ladies, can you imagine a man loving you so much that he is willing to work for your hand in marriage for as long as it takes?! Now, that kind of love IS Favor! Listen in as I unpack this story.
