Although still unclear whether Babylon is a love letter or a suicide note to cinema, this episode certainly is a love letter to Damien Chazelle. It may have flopped at the box office, but it entered the top 4 in our Letterbox by the end of the first scene. 

A jazz-soaked fever dream of old Hollywood excess, topped with Margot  Robbie, Brad Pitt and Diego Calva. If you blinked one too many times, you might’ve missed a wild animal, or a murder.
