DOM Ep256 - The Spectacular Demise of Richard "Sky King" Russel

In August of 2018, 28 year old Richard "Beebo" Russell - a baggage handler with no flight experience- stole a 21 million dollar airliner from Seattle's SeaTac airport. After flying the plane around and performing maneuvers for a little over and hour,  he purposefully flew it directly into a small island in Puget Sound, ending his life.  Throughout the flight, he maintained contact with ground control, and the conversation that resulted painted Beebo as a kind, albeit broken man. Several videos of his flight were captured by bystanders, and those videos, along with the recorded conversation, were posted to social media and soon caused Beebo to go viral as the "Sky King".
