The Toolshed Monster

This is one of the most incredible stories I have ever covered with an ending that sadly, we don't usually see here in the true crime community. When Ethan Walton and Amanda Burney went to sell a piece of land to Glen Gouker they had no way of knowing they were walking into a trap. Ethan is attacked and Amanda is captured and assaulted. This story could easily be a horror film. When Amanda is tied up in a bedroom, she finds a way to free herself and she makes one of the most daring escape attempts I've ever heard of. There are several heroes in this story and several victims. It's a tragic tale of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could happen to any one of us.
