The Dexter Killer: A fan of the Showtime series decides to become his idol

Today we are discussing the murder of Johnny Altinger and the attack of Gilles Tetreault who were both lured by Mark Twitchell posing as a woman on dating apps. The men thought they were going to meet a woman for the first time. Instead, they were attacked upon entering Mark's rented garage where he used a stun baton and a plastic gun on them. One man was lucky enough to get away. The other was not. Mark was a huge Star Wars fan and professional film maker who also loved the TV show Dexter. When Johnny Altinger disappears, his family files a missing persons report and inside the garage he was last known to have been at, the police find a large pool of blood someone has attempted to clean up. Then they go through Mark's laptop and find a deleted file called SK Confessions. In this deleted file, they realize, Mark is telling his own story written as a movie script. This leads them to the discovery that a victim has escaped but failed to inform the police. They seek the public's help and Gilles Tetreault comes forward to share his terrifying story. The police are finally able to locate Johnny Altinger and when they do, they cannot believe what has been done to him
