US-Israel aid plan 'washes' Gaza genocide, says ex-UNRWA spokesperson

Gunness compared Gaza’s starving children to "Holocaust survivors," demanding Western states halt arms sales and enforce ICJ rulings. He dismissed GHF’s armed distribution hubs as mercenary-led failures, noting the $230m US floating pier had already washed away. Urging immediate UNRWA upscaling, he declared current policies "unspinnable" as famine looms. His remarks underscored the growing rift between UN agencies and the US-Israeli aid model.
