More than 180 US universities, colleges denounce Trump’s ‘political interference’

Leaders from more than 180 US universities and colleges are joining forces to stand up against the Trump administration. They've signed a letter denouncing the government of "unprecedented overreach" and intruding in the lives of students. The letter comes after Harvard university sued the government after threats to its funding and tax status.
