DR Congo govt, M23 rebels agree to work towards a ceasefire

The government of the Democratic Republic of Congo and M23 rebels say they're working towards a ceasefire deal. The Rwandan-backed fighters and their allies seized large parts of the eastern DRC in January. The fighting killed and displaced thousands of people. Qatar has been involved in mediation efforts to resolve the conflict.
