Ex:

trop beau pour être vrai = too good to be true
Ex:
Cette promotion, c'est trop beau pour être vrai ! = This promotion, it's too good to be true!
ne pas se moucher du coude = think you are the bee's knees
Ex:
Tom est prétentieux, il ne se mouche pas du coude. = Tom is vain, he thinks he is the bee's knees.
