Ex:

avoir un poil dans la main = to never do a stroke of work
Ex:
Mon ami a un poil dans la main, il ne veut jamais travailler ! = My friend is lazy, he never wants to work!
rire jaune = to give a forced laugh
Ex:
J'ai ri jaune en voyant cette mauvaise photo de moi. = I gave a forced laugh when I saw this bad picture of me.
