Shabbat Machar Chodesh is the Sabbath just before a New Moon. A special portion from the Prophets is read which says, “Tomorrow is the new moon...” (1 Samuel 20:18).

This week's portion is called “Toldot” (Generations). Think about: What Scripture spoke to you most today and why? Did you learn something about God, or something you need to do in your life?
