Until recently, I thought I was one of the luckiest kids alive. My parents were gentle, affectionate, and caring. We had unlimited financial resources, and I was taking full advantage of them. For example, I took tennis lessons from a world champion. We lived in a crowded city with congested traffic so my brother and I took a helicopter to school. We lived in a fabulous mansion. We used to fly abroad with my dad’s private plane every chance we got. In short, it felt as if everything around me was designed to make me happy, and I was very happy. Until the weekend I went to stay at our mountain chalet with my cousin. .
