So, this one starts out pretty rough. I will not get into specifics, but there was something posted online by a loved one that doesn't tell the story correctly. It also makes yours truly look like a total and complete monster. I'm not a monster people. I go into it a little here in the "What's Bugging Me" part of the show and it's not a happy thing.

After the break, I get into what I'm into. The trip to Chicago to see "Tim and Eric Mandatory Attendance World Tour" for my son's birthday was a total success despite me being sick as a dog just a few days prior.. If you click that link above and check out their site, beware that it's not the type of comedy that's for everyone. My wife and daughter cannot stand it, but it's something my son and I bond over.

Still getting through that rewatch of "Toast of London" for sure. Loving pretty much every minute of it. I did watch a docuseries on Netflix called "Don't F**k With Cats" and I would advise you to check it out. Pretty amazing stuff that I binged while sick at home. You like mystery type stuff...you're gonna love this. I go into the usual as far as records and music as well.

Vinyl Junkies is a big part of my free time now and I adore it. I've been able to help by editing a sizzle reel from the shows and I'll be doing some more stuff for the group really soon. You can check out some archived video episodes here. You can check out the incredibly fun Facebook page here. Finally, if you love it and wanna take part, you can join in a more financial way by visiting the Patreon page here. It's certainly not a requirement though.

I've also been listening to the podcast "Oh Myyy Pod" from George Takei and company. A recent episode called "Russian Interference" blew me away and I would advise you take a listen. Know this...it IS a left leaning podcast, but the guest on this episode is a professor in Eastern and Central European History and not biased. He's remarking on historical events and comparisons are made. Scary.

We did listen to "Edge of Dark Water" by Joe R. Lansdale on audiobook during the traveling this past weekend also. I'd read this book when it was released a few years ago, but I figured it would be of interest to my wife and the family. She adored it from beginning to end. A modern variant of Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Finn really. Give it a whirl.

Thats it for now. I will attempt to get the 50th episode out next week on time, but I'm kinda at the mercy of others as guests and so forth.

Be sure to rate or review the show wherever you listen and send me a screenshot or link in order to possibly win this sweet smartwatch.

Later!
