Episode 012 - Be Nice

So, that really wasn't so long was it? I am able to knock one of these out weekly I think. Still building out my stuff at home (mostly a place to record in peace AKA "a studio"), but I can still produce something for you.

This Episode

Plenty happening in this episode other than just me telling everyone to "play nice" I promise. That is an overarching theme though. There's even a call to action. I want you all to commit to it also, and not just for the one day. That's somewhere to start though.

I cover a few other things that I'm very interested in after discussing some humanity helping projects led by my family. This includes a deal my wife did with her girl scouts and a local church a few years ago. They made blankets for the homeless out of repurposed plastic shopping bags and it was pretty fricking cool.

Things I'm into right now

I caught a show on Netflix and binged the hell out of it over the past week and it's totally stuck with me. Check out "Love Death + Robots" when you get a chance. It's very profane at times, but it's great. Think of it as a modern version of "Heavy Metal" or something like that.

Detective Comics also hit #1000 recently and I snagged a copy for archival purposes. I don't really read Bats too much, but I love this artwork.

Still listening to a lot of K-Hip-Hop (Korean Hip-Hop) and loving it. You can check it out too right here on Spotify.

"Queer Eye" on Netflix is another show we're totally into at Trail Mansion. I recall "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" back in the day, and it's a similar idea, but these dudes help out whomever. Men, Women, Straight, Gay, and on and on. It's pretty cool, but grab some tissue before you start it up. You will shed a tear or ten. If you're human and not a dipshit anyway.

And last, but not least, go and subscribe to my son's and his friend's YouTube Channel. It's something else. I'm helping him with purchasing decisions and advice as far as producing episodes. It's a fun idea and I'm excited to see him motivated about the idea. Give it a shot and take in a few episodes even if it's not your fare.
