Hey Dads,
Are you looking to go tubing the San Marcos River? We are in San Marcos, TX today and we are trying to figure out which park is the better park to go to so that we can let out kids play in the water on a hot Texas day. We started at San Marcos City Park and we noticed that this is the top of the river and you can get a tube and float down to Rio Vista Park in San Marcos.

Our problem is that we have a 1 year old with us, so we can’t tube down the river and we found out that the river banks at City Park are a lot deeper than the banks and rocks that are at Rio Vista Park in San Marcos, so we ended up at Rio Vista Park.

In this video I will give you a tour and my thoughts about Rio Vista Park on the San Marcos River in San Marcos, TX, and I discuss how to can tube the San Marcos River. There are a lot of rocks in the area for you to sit on and jump off of and wade in the water of the river.
