Just as forging real battle armor requires heat, patience, and a hammer, spiritual armor requires heated moments and a beating from life to shape it properly. The payoff is protection. Today, Sher reads “If I were the Devil” by Paul Harvey, and Cydni adds to the list. Sher shares the verses from the Armor of God, and Cydni can’t help but add to this list as well. There is a spiritual war that continues today, and whether you want to be a part of it or not, you are. Our challenge this week is for you to evaluate your own personal armor. Examine the Helmet of Salvation, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Shield of Faith, Belt of Truth, Sword of the Spirit, and Shoes of Peace. Identify areas that need polishing. We challenge you to dig deep and reveal weaknesses. Once you uncover weak points, we challenge you to initiate the process of strengthening your armor.
