With many sounds coming out of Boston as of late, it's really hard to keep up with the hottest and the latest. What's really hard to ignore is raw, authentic, purely unadulterated musical synergy and a passion for creating. When you take elements of the great Earth, Wind, and Fire, funk, R&B, a Mos-Def & Talib inspired boom-bap Rap and a smooth laid back cookout vibe–you come out with the collective known as Most High Kingdom. These young brothers have been pioneering a new wave of rappers in the city, and doing it with a very polished and soulful sound. 
It's extremely difficult to toss these artists all in one pot because they do different things musically but their chemistry is unmatched with many groups so we love to hear them get together. Najee Janey, Currell, and Milkshaw Benedict all coming from the same family play role in why they mesh so well and with $ean Wire being a life long friend, he's become a part of the family. Coming out of Roxbury and Dorchester, the type of music these artists create may surprise some Hip-Hop fans who hear of other names who have a larger online following in today's market, but every word is felt as a written testament to their lives and their surroundings. 
Timing is a common trend of this podcast in particular as Kim Janey (the aunt of 3 out of 4 of these guys) is now the acting Mayor of the great city of Boston. History and heritage is also something the fellas discussed and rightfully so since they come from a family who made history again with the 1st Black and woman Mayor of their hometown.
