After the “12 for 12” era in Boston Rap, there was an influx of rappers from the scene who came and went. There are others, however, who seemed to gain a solid following while creating at a high level over and over again. Amongst those names we have the laid back flow and sometimes melodic Kam’Geez. The Dorchester born, Chelsea raised “High-End Hustler” has earned the respect of many fellow creatives and while he hasn’t always been the most consistent, he’s always been able to keep his core following engaged with his loose singles and EP drops.
Just like Charlie MaSheen described the “In Due Time” creator, Kam’Geez has been considered an unsung hero in the eyes of many supporters of our music scene. Over the years he’s worked with Boston names like Rosewood Bape, Pretty G G Pretty, Vanni Allan Poe, and a frequent collaborator FB fba Nyce Franklin. In 2020 you might have heard Kam’s carefully crafted flow on the Sylus Gambino record “Kill or Be Killed” with 8Zipp, also featuring Vanni Allan Poe. With a lot of eyes on the city right now because of some of our bigger named artists, it would be the perfect time to shift into gear and give the people some new work and set himself apart; which is exactly why Kam’Geez chose to come and talk to Charlie MaSheen & KASH on this weeks podcast. Join the guys as they talk about Kam’s creative process, how he plans to set himself apart, and the rollout of his latest project “Charge It to The Game”. We also ”rapped” it up with a dope #RedCupsAndRap freestyle on a classic beat that we actually used for last years cypher! TAP IN‼️
BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR Kam’Geez’s UPCOMING RELEASE “Charge It To The Game” that will be available on all DSPs‼️
