Shooterz Muzik is the creative home for an assortment of talent and one of the leading musical movements out of the city. Since 2020 we’ve been keeping our eyes and ears to one of their most recent inductees then, the young drill rapper who at the time was only 19yrs old— $hayBand$ ‼️ Flash forward to now and 65 episodes later, we had the chance to sit down with $hayBand$ the ARTIST — a more developed and blossoming creative who is stealing the hearts of almost anyone who plays her music!
When we heard $hayBand$ was dropping “The Diamond Child“ EP as her debut in 2021, we and a lot of other supporters assumed we would have heard the drill/trap/crooner mixture we grew to love from her and she ended up surprising us all. She actually gave us 7 records of her showcasing her vocal range and showed us another refreshing side of her we didn‘t know she could fully tap into. The Project Princess is evolving into something bigger and we’re all for it! Since her drop she hasn’t stopped working and actually gave us a teaser ”Big G Band$” — a quick 4 song project to remind us of her roots and she can still do it all very well.
