The role and Doctrine of Christ are not as a liberator from earthly oppressors, but as a liberator (Savior) of over sin for personal progression of individuals, families, and Zion.  Baptisms for the dead are part of our participation in Isaiah 52:7, our "feet" are upon the mountain.
