Rockcast 89 - Rise Together Day

Drugs, mental health, suicide, alcohol have all been decimating the music industry recently. Sure drugs and alcohol have always been a problem in the world of rock, but it seems like lately we've been losing our idols, our heroes, our friends at a rapid rate. The foundation Rise Together works to help people get off the drugs that have consumed their life and give them a purpose.

RISE TOGETHER, a 501c3 non-profit, was founded in 2013 by nationally recognized storytellers, Anthony Alvarado, Douglas Darby, and Nadine Machkovech. Together, they had a goal: to help save at least one life.
