I get asked a lot, "how do you stay sooo positive?" and "you can't always be in a good mood."
Truthfully, no I am not "always" in a positive mood...but 90% of the time...I am! It comes naturally to me, and for those moments/days when it doesn't, I know it won't last long.
Some things that help me;
1. Checking in with my emotions. Asking myself how I am feeling, and allowing myself to feel whatever it is, without judgment.
2. Practicing gratitude for all of the goodness in my life. This should come from your heart, but it's also a skill that takes time if you're not in the practice already. So reach for things to be thankful for, list them out (preferably written) and focus on all of the abundance in your life, not the lack.
3. Affirmations work every time! Get uncomfortable saying them aloud to the point of being cheesy...and tell me you don't feel the slightest bit better! No matter what...you will come out of it smiling and setting these affirmations into your subconscious to raise your vibes!
4. Remember a key principle: LOVE = Truth & Fear = Lies. It's as simple as remembering that loving thoughts, actions, intentions are all true and from God. Any fearful thought, worry, anxiety is all an illusion and these lies are trying to derail you from living in love.
5. Connect with God, Source, the Universe...whatever you chose to call it...connect with Spirit and remove your ego! Being in nature does that for me...every. single. time!
